Motorcycle Insurance Glossary - no claims bonus (NCB)
NCB is a discount which is earned when you do claim against your motorcycle insurance policy. NCB is sometimes also known as NCD (No Claims Discount).
The amount of discount (or bonus), that you receive is determined by the number of years that you have been claim free. In general after each and every claim against your motorcycle insurance policy your NCB is reduced (stepped back) by a level corresponding to two years.
