A Green Card is an internationally recognised motorcycle insurance document which proves that you have the minimum insurance cover required by law in the country you are riding in.
When you're riding in the European countries you can use your certificate of motorcycle insurance as proof of insurance.
You should always carefully check your motorcycle insurance documents before driving in a foreign country to ensure that you green card / motorcycle insurance certificate is valid, for how long the insurance is valid and if any restrictions to your bike insurance apply in that country.
